Amy brings eighteen years of dance experience studying at the Sherwood Park School of Dance, seven years teaching. She has passed the Intermediate R.A.D. ballet examination with distinction and has studied extensively with many of North America’s finest teachers in: ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap, hip hop, musical theatre, modern, Spanish, and Flamenco.
The summer of 2003 she was accepted to the professional program at the Quinte Ballet School of Canada and the summer of 2004, studied at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School.
The summer of 2010 Amy participated in the dance teachers summit in New York. Amy keeps up to date attending current dance conventions each year.
Amy has won numerous top awards for solos, and groups in festivals and competitions. We welcome back her excellent rapport and understanding of teaching children proper technical skills and the love of dance.
